Final Product Inspection (FPI)
This is the last defense line against receiving large quantities of defective merchandize. Ensure the product you pay for meets your specifications before you settle final payment. Use just this service if your budget allows for only one inspection.
Purpose: Ensure the product meets your expectation..
Standard: According to AQL standard or specific requirement by clients
Main objectives, checking for: Defects, safety, quantity, packing, shipping marks, barcode test, workmanship, labeling, function, color, size, weight, on-site tests, product specification, client special requirement, etc.
Time: When the production is 80-100% completed and at least some if not all of the goods are packed into cartons. 1-2 days before the loading.
Location: The production facility (recommended), or much less often at the freight forwarder's or reseller's warehouse.
Report: A detailed report will be sent to you within 24 hours. If a non acceptable defect is found we will inform you immediately!
Pictures: Products, labels, opened carton, shipping marks, barcodes inspection,.factory,defects.
If you are concerned about shipment delay due to product reworking or a dispute with your supplier regarding product quality, add an IPI. (in process inspection)
Pre-Production Inspection (PPI)
Purpose: Guarantee your order is 100% ready for production, make sure the production starts on time, the production plan is reasonable and efficiency, decrease the quality risks.
Main objectives, checking for: The key components and raw materials, the production plan, production environment, specification, etc.
Time: Before production begins.
Report: Full report with detailed photos will be sent to you within one day!
During Production Inspection (DPI)
Purpose: Helps you identify and fix issues early in the manufacturing cycle.
Standard: According to AQL standard or specific requirement by clients.
Main objectives, checking for: Safety, quantity, packing, product appearance (AQL), workmanship, labeling & logos, function assortment, accessories, color, size, weight, on-site tests, semi-finished product check, raw materials check, product specification, client special requirement, etc.
Time: The production reaches approximately 20% to maximum 50% of the total order quantity.
Report: Full report with detailed photos will be sent to you within one day!
Production Monitoring (PM)
Purpose: Place a CSD professional inspector full time in the factory; constantly monitoring your important or time sensitive productions, guarantee your order to be produced according to the production plan. Make sure the manufacture is qualified in every process.
Standard: According to AQL standard or specific requirement by clients.
Main objectives, checking for: Monitor the production, confirm production plan, supervise the factory's internal quality control, conduct random inspections of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, etc.
Time: Full time, from raw material to the final end product.
Report: A report with detailed photos will be sent to you every day!
First Article Inspection (FAI)
Purpose: Ensure the production starts on time, with the right quality, your instructions totally be understood.
Standard: According to AQL standard or specific requirement by clients.
Main objectives, checking for: Safety, quantity, packing, product appearance (AQL), workmanship, labeling & logos, function assortment, accessories, color, size, weight, on-site tests, semi-finished product check, raw materials check, product specification, client special requirement, etc.
Time: When 1% to 10% of your ordered quantity will be produced.
Report: Full report with detailed photos will be sent to you within one day!
Container Loading Supervision (CLS)
Container loading is crucial in the good delivery of your goods. Incorrect careless loading can cause damages, incorrect quantities, wet goods, or even another customer’s products. So CSD make sure with the CLS inspection that your products are in the same condition they were before loading began.
Purpose: To ensure your merchandize are loaded appropriately with correct quantity and in a good condition onto the container.
Main objectives, checking for: Correct products, correct quantity, shipping marks, condition of cartons, condition of container(s), supervising careful loading (minimizing damage), delaying loading during inclement weather, client’s special requirements are implemented, etc.
Time: After final product inspection (FPI) and prior to the container being sealed.
Location: At the factory where the goods were produced, or much less often at the freight forwarder's or reseller's warehouse.
Report: Pressing issues will be reported to you immediately. Full report with detailed photos will be sent to you within one day!
